Sports Hall Hire

The King's Club has 2 sports halls which are available to hire for external clubs for a range of activities including: indoor hockey, basketball, badminton, netball, pickleball, 5-a-side football and for cricket coaching with our new state of the art nets.

Sports Hall 1: 22m x 35m £120 per hour Weekdays: Term time 18:00 - 22:00 / Holidays 09:00 - 22:00 / Weekends 09:00 - 19:00
Sports Hall 2: 15m x 30m £90 per hire Weekdays: Term time 18:00 - 22:00 / Holidays 09:00 - 22:00 / Weekends 09:00 - 19:00

Sports Hall Footwear & Usage

The King's Club takes great pride in our sports halls.  They are cleaned throughout the day to ensure they are ready for a variety of sports.  In addition to the cleaning we provide, we kindly ask that all users follow the rules below:

  • Only clean, non-marking, indoor sports shoes are permitted.
  • Users are required to change from outdoor to indoor footwear before entering the sports hall.
  • Water only in sealable bottles is permitted, no food allowed in sports hall area.
  • Participants are to report any water leaks to the Duty Manager.

The importance of clean, indoor appropriate footwear:

  • Safety: Outdoor shoes can track in dirt, mud, and moisture, making the floor slippery and creating an injury risk.
  • Floor Protection: Aggressive treads, studs, high heels, or outdoor soles can cause scuffs, scratches, and long-term damage to the specialised indoor sports surface.
  • Hygiene: Removing outdoor footwear helps maintain a cleaner and more hygienic environment for all participants.
